What are your goals and/or expectations for this semester?

I have quit a few goals for this semester since it's my first semester and well it's been a while that I haven't been to school ( about four years) so I just hope that it won't get to stressful or just to much for me.For the reason that I have a 23 month old baby I work full time so it's kind of hard to not miss once in a while.Coming back to school was my best choice I think because I can get a better job and not only that but I could also be someone or something in the future. I would also like to learn more about the school I really don't know much about it.My first day I really couldn't find any of my classes.I would also like to meet all kinds of people from all over the world and of course make friends. Also this semester I would like to get help with how to write a good paper work. For example learn how to spell check and grammar my own writing. Also try to stay at the same passe as the classmates. Today in my life the only thing important is my family especially my baby so I have to work hard and show my family that I could do it. I just hope that down the line my classes don't get that hard and I don't stress to much at school or work.
I hope that this class can help me with all my English, because when you speak two different languages is not as easy as learning to speak it. You have to learn how to write it, read it and use the appropriate words with what you are trying to say to the other people. I'm not really good for English I mean it's just not my favorite class, but I'm willing to do my best and learn my pronouns, adjectives, subjects and etc. Daniel I hope you can help me because I can't do it by myself. I promise you that I will pass this class with at least a C+ maybe even better, but I do need your help. Like people say we can do it together, Right?

This is a good start to your journal Araceli. I know it's a challenge to write at a college level, especially if English isn't your first language. However, you seem motivated and prepared to work hard, so I don't see any reason why you can't be successful.

I wish you luck this semester and good luck with you're baby. I know it's hard to go to College and work full time especially when you have a family to take care of too. Stay strong.

It is hard to work, go to school, and have kids. I just beleive that if I do my best things will go well. So if you try your hardest I think your semester will be fine.
