Describe your dream job. What would you like most about this position? Why do you want to do it?

I figured out that my thing was cosmetology or bakery . Ever since I was 10 I loved to do my little sisters hair, nails, and make-up and my own. I also love to help my mom bake cookies, cinnamon rolls, Mexican bread and other good stuff.
I have always dream of having my own beauty shop. When ever friends go to my house or call to ask if I have time to do their hair, nails, or make-up. I feel so good and proud of myself that I can satisfied them with my abilities. They always pay me with cash and a big satisfied smile on their face. That's what makes me work harder in learning new stuff ans new hair styles just for all of us beautiful woman out there.
My position dream is a professional cosmetology because I'm that way I actually now that it's going to come out right and I'm those persons that never give up that I have to keep on doing it and doing it till I now it's correct and looks the way the customer and I wants it to look. For example I would like to work for all the models and actresses that come on TV my number one dream.
The first time i felt like giving up was when one of my home girls Antonia took one of her friends to me to do her hair. She wanted blond highlights and well I got everything ready I started to do her hair and when I finished her hair we sat down for a while so that the 25min would pass when all of a sudden she yelled from the bathroom,"MY HAIR." I rushed to the bathroom and her hair turned out a really white, bleached color I was so embarrassed and I just couldn't find the words to tell her. She left all upset and so that's when I kind of turn my dream down. But the next weekend she called me and she asked me to do her a nice hair do because she was going to be an a wedding and was going to be the maid of honor. I was so happy that I got prepared to do the best hair do I new. She ask,"How much do I ow you?" "Nothing," I reply. She gave me a hug and said, "I really love it." So now I'm here trying to live my dream in the future.
I hope that all of the students here at Butte College can make all of their dreams true and all we have to do is work hard and remember we all make mistakes and we learn something from them,"RIGHT?"

That's a nice story, and it's kind of funny too! I think it is great that you are able to be open about the mistake you have made. You obviously learned something from this too. Thanks for sharing.
